[100 Naked Words] IT career, burning bridges & winning the lottery
Here are the stories published for my 4th week on 100 Naked Words.
One of my friend just asked me this question. It made me think that up until last year, I never thought that I’d be done with IT.
All I was thinking when I was in engineering school is that I’d be making enough money to do whatever I wanted.
Back in my days in my corporate job, I used to blame my Manager for working on projects I didn’t want to be involved in.
I thought I had no choice. As if, she was forcing me to do something I didn’t want to do.
A couple of days ago, I had a friend on the phone.
Things were going great:
- He finally got hired by the company he was working for as a 3rd party for 2 years. Meaning great paycheck and at least 10 weeks of holidays;
I cried a couple of days ago.
I was filled with doubts and feeling hopeless of what my boyfriend and I are trying to do.
I knew that starting an online business from the scratch was going to be hard. I knew that it would be risky but I took a leap…
Recently I talked to a friend who was surprised by how I managed my budget. Because since I quit my job on November 30th 2015, I haven’t been back to a regular job.
If you expect to only have rainbows and unicorns in your life, you couldn’t be further from the truth.
One thing you can be sure of is that life ain’t gonna go according to plans.
When I was 14, I used to play to that video game called The Sims.
I gotta admit. I was addicted to it.
I was obsessed with the green bar which is the level of social interaction between characters.
